Return of the Mac

Outfit:
Red and white striped tee: c/o Florence and Fred (similar)
Light wash skinny jeans: New Look
Beige long trench coat: Zara (similar)
White chucks: Converse c/o Tower London

I went along to the Tower London press breakfast a few weeks ago - fell head over heels for the Melissa x Vivienne Westwood boots below -  to have a sneaky look at all the a/w gems they have coming in to store. They had some amazing boots and some really great brands. I was especially taken with the floral Doc Martens - the pattern is amazing right? Tower London are definitely a shop to look out for if you're looking to treat yourself to some new boots. They have something for everyone! I was very lucky to win these Converse in a competition they were running on the day and they've hardly left my feet! I opted for the classic white as they go with absolutely everything.

Put your best foot forward

Next Easter I shall finally be soaking up the sights of New York City. To say I'm excited would be an understatement. I've wanted to visit the Big Apple since the age of 14 and I think I might actually cry the minute I step foot out of the airport - I'm only half joking. As much as i'd love to totter around the city in skyscraper heels doing my best Carrie Bradshaw impression, it just ain't going to happen. Therefore i'm on a hunt for a pair of converse to save my poor feet. After scouring the internet i've noticed Littlewoods range of Converse is an absolute corker. The spotty low tops are winning the battle of the sneaker. They're a colour that will go with most things but the pattern stops them from blending into the background. But if you really want to make a statement, go for the wonder woman option. They'll certainly be a conversation starter!

Are you a fan of converse?

Please repeat whatever you just said, nothing's making sense

After saving all my pennies for New York I was beginning to get the shakes from being on a spending ban so when I recieved a little bit of money via eBay I decided to throw caution to the wind and persue the Asos sale. I was very restrained and only came away with this gorgeous skirt and this non-sale basic cami. I could have spent a small fortuine but decided to have my sensible head on for one. What's happened to me?! I do tend to think Asos skirts are a tad overpriced so only really buy them in the sale. I don't mind spending £45 on a dress but on a skirt? No thanks. I thought the skirt would be a cotton material but it's more like a thick jersey material so it feels quite heavy. I'm hoping the dreaded bobbles won't come too soon.

This weekend has been spent recovering from Newmarket on Friday - the day was absolutely brilliant! I never knew just how much I enjoyed inflicting my god awful singing on people via Karaoke. I'm proud to say I was a bit of a hogger and belted out the Spice Girls complete with the dance moves. I don't think my mother has ever been prouder.

Have you brought any bargains in the Asos sale?
